In March we celebrate Play the Recorder Month! Usually we play the chosen piece as part of our monthly chapter meeting, but, darn, no in-person meeting once again. The piece of music that the American Recorder Society has chosen is called “Fanfare: returning” by Erik Pearson and it was included in a recent ARS magazine. There will be an online presentation this Saturday, March 19th at 11am PDT which will include an interview with the composer and an opportunity to play along with a virtual ensemble.
