Welcome to SRS

The Sacramento Recorder Society is a chapter of the American Recorder Society and an affiliate of the San Francisco Early Music Society. We welcome recorder players of all ages and abilities as well as players of other early music instruments such as lutes, viols, sackbuts, shawms, curtals, krummhorns, and percussion.  We meet monthly September through June, from 6:45-9:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month, at the Friends Meeting House, 890 57th St., between H and J. We always welcome visitors to our meetings.  Map

For regular announcements, please follow the blog and be sure to read our monthly newsletter. You’ll get an email when new announcements are posted, generally only a few per month.

COVID update:   We are meeting in person again.  We will be providing several air purifiers to improve the air circulation in the Meetinghouse. Please do not come if you are feeling at all under the weather. We will be keeping a list of attendees as required by the Meetinghouse.
